38માં રાષ્ટ્રીય અંધત્વ નિવારણ કાર્યક્રમ માં ચક્ષુદાન જનજાગૃતિ અર્થે આજરોજ સંત પુનિત ચક્ષુ બેંક, રોટરી આઈ ઇન્સ્ટિટયૂટ , માલિબા નેત્ર સંકુલ અને સિવિલ હોસ્પિટલ નવસારીના સહયોગ થી વિવિધ સંસ્થાઓના સથવારે સિવિલ હોસ્પિટલ થી ફુવારા ટાવર થઈ રોટરી આઈ ઇન્સ્ટિટયૂટ સુધી નીકળેલ વિશાળ રેલીને સંબોધતા નવસારીના માનનીય ધારાસભ્ય શ્રી રાકેશભાઈ દેસાઈએ ચક્ષુ દાનની મહત્તતા સમજાવી મારા હાલના મધ્યપ્રદેશના પ્રવાસ દરમિયાન ત્યાં પણ નવસારી રોટરી આઈ ઇન્સ્ટિટયૂટની એક આગવી છાપ છે જેની પ્રતીતિ થઈ તે બદલ રોટરી આઈ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ ને ખુબ ખુબ અભિનંદન આપ્યા હતા. રોટરી આઈ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટના ચેરમેન શ્રી રશ્મિકાંતભાઈ પટેલે ચક્ષુદાન અંગેની લોકોમાં ઉદાસીનતા અંગે દુઃખ વ્યક્ત કરી વધુમાં વધુ લોકો ચક્ષુદાન ના મહાયજ્ઞમાં જોડાઈ એ માટે અપીલ કરી હતી સંત પુનિત ચક્ષુબેંક ના ચેરમેન, રોટરી આઈ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટના માનદમંત્રી શ્રી યોગેશભાઈ જે. નાયકે જણાવ્યું હતું કે આજે સમગ્ર ભારત માં નેત્રહીનો માટે વર્ષ દરમિયાન અંદાજિત૭ લાખ જેટલી કીકીની જરૂરિયાત છે અને એમાં દર વર્ષે ૨૫ થી ૩૦ હજારનો ઉમેરો થાય છે જેમાં મોટાભાગના યુવાનોનો પણ સમાવેશ થાય છે.તેની સામે ચક્ષુદાન કરવાવાળા લોકોની સંખ્યા ખૂબ જ ઓછી હોય છે જેને કારણે આંખોની રોશની માટે હજારો નેત્રહીનો હજી ચક્ષુદાન માટે રાહ જોઈ બેઠા છે એમનો અંધાપો દૂર કરી અજવાળા પાથરવાના સત્કાર્ય ને પરિવારની પરંપરા બનાવવામાં આપ સૌનું યોગદાન ખૂબ જ મહત્વનું હોય ચક્ષુદાનના સંકલ્પ કરાવવાના ભગીરથ કાર્યમાં સહયોગ આપવા નમ્ર અપીલ કરી હતી.સંત પુનિત ચક્ષુબેંકના એક્ઝિક્યુટિવ ડીરેક્ટર રોટરી આઈ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટના ડો. ફાલ્ગુનીબેન મહેતાએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે ચક્ષુદાનમાં ઉંમરનો કોઈ બાધ નથી અને ડાયાબિટીસ, હાઈ બ્લડ પ્રેશર, ટીબી દમ કે કેન્સરના દર્દીઓ સહિત ચશ્મા લેન્સ પહેરનારા અને મોતિયા/ઝામરના ઓપરેશન પછી પણ ચક્ષુદાન કરી શકાય છે તે અંગે વિસ્તૃત માહિતી આપી હતી

38th Fortnight Eye Donation Program conducted on 29/08/2023 at Ramji Mandir, Navsari.

તારીખ-27/08/2023ના રોજ રોટરી આઈ ઈન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ દ્રારા બેઝ હોસ્પિટલમાં ફકત નાના બાળકો માટે આંખના કેમ્પનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. 47 વર્ષોથી રોટરી આઇ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ સતત સર્વ લોકોની આંખના જતનનું નિરંતર કામ કરતી રહી છે.આ કેમ્પ ને સફળ બનાવાવા માટે સેક્રેટરી શ્રી યોગેશભાઇ નાયક , ડૉ. જય મહીડા અને ઓપ્ટોમેટ્રીસ્ટ ની ટીમ પોતાનુ યોગદાન આપ્યું હતું. આ કેમ્પમાં 205 બાળકો પોતાની આંખની તપાસ કરાવવા આવ્યા હતા.
રોટરી આઇ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ માં દરરોજ બાળઆંખ રોગ નિષ્ણાંત 9:00કલાક થી 3:00 કલાક સુધી ઉપલબ્ધ છે.

Rotary Eye Institute had Organised a Camp at Vansava Village on 28th August 2023, with the Support of Rotary Surat Riverside.
There were 190 Patients Screened.
38th National Eye Donation Awareness Activity at Rotary Eye Institute, Navsari and ST Depot, Navsari.
Rotary Eye Institute organized an Eye camp at Shamgahan, on 20th August 2023. With the support of Aadivasi Eyecare Charitable Trust, Shamgahan.
Screening of 276 patients was done in the camp successfully. 44 patients were identified with cataracts of which 29 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 03 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 05 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups.
Rotary Eye Institute organized an Eye camp at Base Hospital, on 20th August 2023. In the presence of Honourable Dr. Rupam Desai, On their Birthday, By lighting the lamp at Base Hospital.
Screening of 455 patients was done in the camp successfully. 132 patients were identified with cataracts of which 41 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 12 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 55 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups.
Rotary Eye Institute and Rotary Community Corps (RCC) Sachin Kanakpur had Organised a Camp at Pali Village on 13 August 2023.
Screening of 219 patients was done in the camp successfully. 22 patients were identified with cataracts of which 13 patients were both Eye cataracts, and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 13 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups.

Rotary Eye Institute organized a Camp at Bilimora on 6th August 2023, with the support of the Rotary Club of Gandevi Charitable Trust and Shri Somnath Mahadev Trust, Bilimora.
Screening of 156 patients was done in the camp successfully. 31 patients were identified with cataracts of which 5 patients were both Eye cataracts and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute.
Rotary Eye Institute had organised a camp at Ganesh Sisodra, on 30th July 2023, In loving memory of the late. Bhikhubhai Parbhubhai Patel – Ganesh Sisodra (Johannesburg, South Africa) by their family.
294 spectacles distributed free of cost and Screening of 476 patients was done in the camp successfully. 47 patients were identified with cataracts of which 08 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 2 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 13 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups.
Rotary Eye Institute and G.H Bhakt Memorial Foundation Trust, Mahuva pay Tribute to Late Naranbhai Gopalbhai Bhakt, Remembering them on their death anniversary by organizing an eye camp on 23th July 2023, at Karcheliya.
Screening of 282 patients was done in the camp successfully. 42 patients were identified with cataracts of which 30 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 1 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 26 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups. 168 spectacles were distributed free to the patients.
Rotary Eye Institute had organised a camp at Base Hospital, on 16th July 2023, In loving memory of the late. Jivanbhai Ukabhai Patel and Late. Manuben Jivanbhai Patel (Rayam, Navsari) by their family.
Screening of 315 patients was done in the camp successfully. 100 patients were identified with cataracts of which 32 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 3 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 26 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups.
A Free Eye Camp was organized at Hariya village on 26th June 2023, under the initiative of Hariya Khedut Mandal and Hariya Gam Seva Mandal, with the support of Rotary Eye Institute and Rotary Club Chikhli Riverfront. A total of 238 Patients were Screened.
On the 9th Death Anniversary of our respected, Viral(Ram) Purohit, Rotary Eye Institute organized a camp at the base hospital on 2nd July 2023.
Screening of 213 patients was done in the camp successfully. 47 patients were identified with cataracts of which 25 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 2 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 11 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups.
A Free Eye Camp was organized at Netrang on 2nd July 2023,

Rotary Eye Institute organized a Camp at Onjal village on 11th June 2023, with the support of the Honourable M.L.A(Jalalpore) Shree R.C Patel sir and Gram Panchayat Onjal.
Screening of 262 patients was done in the camp successfully. 46 patients were identified with cataracts of which 29 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 4 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 09 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups. 145 spectacles were distributed free to the patients.
રોટરી આઈ ઇન્સ્ટિટયૂટ માલીબા નેત્રસંકુલ નવસારી પરિવાર દ્વારા પદ્મવિભૂષણ અનિલભાઈ નાયકના જન્મદિન નિમત્તે વિનામૂલ્યે નેત્રયજ્ઞનું આયોજન કરાયું હતું. રોટરી આઈ ઇન્સ્ટિટયૂટના ચેરમેન રશ્મિભાઈ પટેલ, વા.ચેરમેન જયંતીભાઈ પટેલ, માનદમંત્રી યોગેશભાઈ નાયક, ખજાનચી રણજીતભાઇ શાહ, ટ્રસ્ટી જયરાજભાઇ નાયક, ટ્રસ્ટી જગદીશભાઈ શાહ સાથે રોટેરીયન ધવલ ચોકસીએ કેમ્પ ખુલ્લો મૂક્યો હતો. આ નેત્રયજ્ઞને શુભેચ્છા પાઠવવા એલ એન્ડ ટી પબ્લિક ચેરીટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટના ટ્રસ્ટી અતિકભાઈ દેસાઈ સાથે વા. પ્રેસિડેન્ટ એન્ડ ચીફ એડમીનિસ્ટ્રેટીવ ઓફિસ હજીરા સેન્ટ્રલ સર્વિસના સંજયભાઈ દેસાઈ ખાસ ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યાં હતાં. આ નેત્રયજ્ઞમાં 174 દર્દીની વિનામૂલ્યે આંખની તપાસ કરી 64 દર્દીને વિનામૂલ્યે નજીકના ચશ્માં વિતરણ તેમજ 61 દર્દીને વિનુમૂલ્યે લેન્સ મૂકીને મોતિયાના ઓપરેશન કરી આપવામાં આવશે. આ ઉપરાંત બીજા 5 દર્દીઓ વેલ માટે આને 11 દર્દીઓને વધુ તપાસ માટે રોટરી આઈ હોસ્પિટલ રીફર કરવામાં આવ્યા હતાં.

The screening of 201 patients was done in the camp successfully. 40 patients were identified with cataracts of which 12 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 10 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 28 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups.

Screening of 228 patients was done in the camp successfully. 25 patients were identified with cataracts of which 10 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 2 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 07 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups. 147 spectacles were distributed free to the patients.
Rotary Eye Institute organized a Camp at Vedchha village on 28th May 2023, with the support of the Rotary Club of Chikhli Riverfront and Vedchha Yuvak Mandal.
Screening of 227 patients was done in the camp successfully. 29 patients were identified with cataracts of which 17 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 2 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 27 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups. 114 spectacles were distributed free to the patients.
Rotary Eye Institute Organised a Camp at Base Hospital on 21st May 2023, In The Loving Memory of the Late Chhotalal VallabhBhai Patel and Late Dinumati Chhotalal Patel, Sponsored by Raina K. Foundation-Michigan, USA (Dr. Kirit, Malti, Raina, Rohin). We have Successfully Completed 8 Camps till date for our new Projects which have been organized on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.
The screening of 150 patients was done in the camp successfully. 46 patients were identified with cataracts of which 26 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 1 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 28 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups.
Rotary Club of Gandevi Organised a Camp at Gandeva Village on 21st May 2023, with the support of the Rotary Eye Institute, Navsari and Bahuchraji Temple, mota faliya Gandeva. There were 135 Patients screened.
Lions Club of Navsari Midtown, Navsari had organized a Camp at Bigri village on 14th May 2023, with the support of the Rotary Eye Institute, Navsari. A total of 85 Patients were Screened.
Rotary Eye Institute Organised a Camp at Devdha Village on 14th May 2023, with the support of the Rotary Club of Chikhli Riverfront and Devdha Yuvak Mandal. There were 112 Patients screened.
Rotary Eye Institute Organised a Camp at Base Hospital on 7th May 2023, In The Loving Memory of the Late Chhotalal VallabhBhai Patel and Late Dinumati Chhotalal Patel, Sponsored by Raina K. Foundation-Michigan, USA (Dr. Kirit, Malti, Raina, Rohit). We have Successfully Completed 7 Camps till date for our new Projects which have been organized on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.
Screening of 113 patients was done in the camp successfully. 33 patients were identified with cataracts of which 13 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 1 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 21 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups.
Rotary Eye Institute organized a Camp at Panar village on 30th April 2023, with the support of the Honourable M.L.A(Jalalpore) Shree R.C Patel sir, Panar vibhag madhyamik kelavani Mandal, Panar, Gram Panchayat Panar, Gram panchayat Kanera, Gram panchayat Chijgam and Gram panchayat Krushnapur.
Screening of 254 patients was done in the camp successfully. 51 patients were identified with cataracts of which 33 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 6 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 26 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups. 148 spectacles were distributed free to the patients.
Rotary Eye Institute organized an Eye camp at Chhinam Village on 26th April 2023, In Loving Memory of cooperative leader Late. Ramesh Bhai Vashi and Former President Giants Bhupendra R Vashi. With the support of Manavrog Nivaran Mandal, Navsari, Chhinam Seva Sahakari Mandali, Chhinam, and the Giants group of Maroli Vibhag.
Screening of 349 patients was done in the camp successfully. 69 patients were identified with cataracts of which 38 patients were both Eye cataracts. In addition, 2 patients were pterygium and all will go through free surgery at Rotary Eye Institute. Other than that 27 patients were referred to visit Rotary Eye Institute for further check-ups. 205 spectacles were distributed free to the patients.
Rotary Eye Institute had organized a Camp at Aat village on 23rd April 2023, with the support of the Honourable M.L.A(Jalalpore) Shree R.C Patel sir and Gram Panchayat Aat. A total of 140 Patients were Screened.
Rotary Eye Institute had Organised a Camp at Base Hospital on 16th April 2023, In The Loving Memory of Late Chhotalal VallabhBhai Patel and Late Dinumati Chhotalal Patel, In Which 220 Patients Screening was Done, Which was Sponsored by Raina K. Rotary Eye Institute had Organised a Camp at Base Hospital, with the support of Naginbhai Narottamdas Solanki Eru Garden Society – Canada. A total of 284 Patients were Screened. 150 Patients were identified with cataracts, and those identified with cataracts will be treated free of cost.

Rotary Eye Institute and Manavrog Nivaran Mandal had Organised a Camp at Anklanchh, In The Loving Memory of Late Chhotalal VallabhBhai Patel and Late Dinumati Chhotalal Patel. Sponsored by Raina K. Foundation-Michigan, USA (Dr. Kirit, Malti, Raina, Rohit). A total of 328 Patients were Screened.

Gandevi Taluka Seva Trust, Gandevi Seva Samaj of North America, Rotary Eye Institute “Maliba Netra Sankul”, Kesali Vibhag Kelavani Mandal, Kesali Manav Kalyan Trust Library and Kesali Mahila Mandal had Organised a Camp at Kesali, with the support of the Dr. Shrimati Nirmala and Dr. Rameshbhai Kaniya. A total of 324 Patients were Screened.
